The Team

The Role
As a Senior Solution Advisor on the Midmarket team, you will utilize our Business Technology Platform solution set to amaze our customers by realizing their digital transformation vison and solving their most complex problems. You will also act as a solution champion for SAP’s Business Technology Platform solutions within the Solution Advisory organization. As a specialist in the Business Technology Platform space, you will focus on one or more of the following areas:
- Leading our customers through their digital transformation and innovation journey
- Clearly articulating the role of technology within our S/4 HANA Cloud, public edition solution
- Application Integration
- SAP Build, Process Automation
- Mobility
- Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning
- Collaboration and User Experience
- Understanding of the broader Business Technology Platform solution set such as Datasphere, Analytics, etc
As the solution expert, you will:
- Lead the solution component of the Business Technology Platform (“BTP”) sales cycles
- Conduct FtS Assessments (Fit to Standard) with representatives from the prospective customer to build relationships and understand their unique needs
- Drive a prescriptive outcome with your customers in partnership with the account team
- Be the face of SAP and bring the solution to life through visual storytelling and demonstrations
- Effectively present to customers remotely using virtual technologies
- Represent SAP’s current cloud solutions and future direction
- Demonstrate deep industry knowledge to maintain credibility with prospective customers
- Position SAP considering the competitive landscape
- Provide answers to customer / internal SAP team inquiries concerning advanced solution topics
- Speak about technical topics in every-day language
- Develop a reputation for excellence in customer engagement
- Grow solution knowledge and adoption with the Solution Advisory organization in the “BTP” domain
- Collaborate on strategic internal projects

Experience:
- 6+ years of relevant presales AND \ OR “BTP” experience
- Extensive knowledge/background in: SAP S/4HANA Cloud, public edition Technical Knowledge; Integration, Collaboration, UX, Cloud and Hybrid Architectures; Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning
- Superior presentation and written communication skills
- Competitive Knowledge

Education:
- Bachelor equivalent: minimum requirement
- Master equivalent: optional

Compensation Range Transparency: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 126,900 -270,500 USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
