PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
The Adoption Services Center is a team of global experts providing exceptional experiences at scale, bringing content, expertise, design, and offerings that help every SAP customer adopt and consume SAP technology. The Solution Lead for Adoption Services Center is responsible for creating a solution adoption plan for SAP customers, by leveraging various team capabilities.
As a Solution Lead, you will work proactively with SAP internal and external stakeholders to gain an understanding of the opportunities that require support. You will build an outstanding network of solution architects and engage them in the bid process. You will support the execution of key milestones of the process in such a way that all relevant stakeholders are involved, and a fast, compliant process is executed.
By gaining an overall understanding of the services portfolio and SAP solution, you will be able to work closely together with service owners to get an in-depth understanding of the offerings to integrate them into an adoption plan and drive innovative service offerings.
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS / KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for Solutioning assigned deals, with high quality, within agreed SLA’s/timelines & meeting the expectations.
- Should be able to make optimum use of portfolio of services.
- Expected to participate or lead customer workshops from onsite/remote to understand customer needs, scope, and expectation.
- Responsible to liaise with Subject matter expert(s) to define scope, estimate efforts, define a schedule within aggressive timelines.
- Strive to continuously improve the bid quality, resulting in less iterations and higher win rate.
- Build mutual trust, collaborating closely within the team to share knowledge & to leverage complimentary skills.
- Flexible in your approach & quickly grasp new areas/service offerings.
- Available for 0-10% travel
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
- 5-6 years of total SAP consulting experience or on another ERP solution
- Overall architecture and implementation methodology, desirable to comprehend customer needs & solution appropriately.
- Previous Bid management / Solutioning experience is highly desirable.
- Project management & team leading is a plus.
- Strong customer focus, networking, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in international and virtual teams.
- English required; other European language is a plus.
Nice-to-Have:
- SAP Certification in SAP Financials/Logistics/Technical solution area is a plus.
- Experience with SAP as Core Digital Enterprise is a plus.
- Project Management certification.
