Solution Architect Senior Specialist S/4 HANA, BRIM
SAP is looking for smart and driven individuals to build long-term careers with a team focusing on providing SAP S4HANA cloud consulting services for LoBs (Quote to Cash / Finance) and Industries (High Tech, Transportation, Telecom, Professional Services and Media), focusing on BRIM (SOM/CC/CI/FICA)
Expectation and Tasks
The roles can span across various profiles from any or all the below categories:
Solution Implementation
The core expectation will be the relevant experience in service delivery/implementation projects with specific skillset in being able to map business requirements to IT capabilities of SAP product suite (cloud & hybrid) designed for these specific LoBs/Industries. The job descriptions in this profile will include:
- business requirement analysis, configuring SAP products, design and deliver solutions for product gaps as per the customer’s specific business needs, helping them transform into intelligent enterprises.
- delivering IT consulting services in global integrated delivery models, suitable for one of the largest cloud & on-prem ERP solution provider in the world
Good understanding of end-to-end core business processes related to at least one of the solutions mentioned (BRIM SOM, CC, CI, FICA) will be a mandatory expectation for the role, with regards to this part of the profile. Understanding of typical cloud & ERP implementations, deployment methods, software life cycles, agile methodologies will be a huge advantage.
Business Development & Pre-sales
One of the medium-term expectations will be also to start supporting the practice & the organization’s engagement teams in building business through pre-sales support activities including:
- business requirements gathering and architecting an end-to-end solution using the standard SAP solutions & services
- defining end-to-end delivery models to optimize the TCO/value for customers and delivering compelling proposals for the customers (including estimation of scope, timeline and resource requirements)
Ability to manage stakeholders, mapping of requirements to products and services fitment and support end-to-end bid phases is an expectation for this profile. Any prior experience in the same will be an added advantage.
Competency & Practice Development
We are also looking for future leaders who want to build a career with SAP eventually taking up leadership roles within and beyond the practice. The expectations (if found suitable in development plan) will include
- participation and supporting the practice development around business planning and defining & monitoring key KPIs for a global consulting practice.
- taking accountability of defining & executing end-to-end initiatives supporting the practice charter.
- supporting in defining services and creating the GTM content for the same
- supporting in ideation of innovation and automation use cases and driving their build and execution
- Ability to think out-of-the-box to strategize, plan and lead execution of organizational initiatives will be a key expectation to build credentials around leadership profiles.
Qualification and Experience
- BS or BA degree or equivalent work experience is mandatory
- SAP Industry Solution experience mandatory (High Tech, Transportation, Telecom, Professional Services and Media etc..)
- SAP BRIM certification or proven quote to cash process knowledge
- Knowledge of accounting processes in SAP FICA a plus
Work Experience
- 3-5 years consulting implementation experience required
- Consulting experience must include the role of team lead for 2-3 full cycle implementations
Other Requirements
- Strong Customer Success focus
- Strong affinity to adapt to change and lead large transformation of quote to cash
- Manage ambiguity and bring structure to problem statements
- Team player with an affable personality
- Strong presentation, articulation and communication skills
- Stakeholder management at various levels

Compensation Range Transparency: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 146,000 - 356,800 USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
