SAP Finance Business Process Principal Consultant
PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
The Business Principal Consultant facilitates the implementation and support of SAP Finance & Accounting products and functionalities to enhance the clients’ business functionality and overall performance, while maintaining a high degree of customer satisfaction. He/ She will be part of an elite group of SAP Retail & Fashion consultants providing our clients with professional services focused on Core Retail and Fashion Management business processes.
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
The consultant will contribute in blueprinting, design, implementation, operation, optimization, and
upgrade phase of an Enterprise IT project life cycle, and provide business process as well as functional expertise, and project guidance to our clients to ensure their investment in SAP software and consulting services will make their business the best run business. Consultant is also responsible for maintaining a high degree of customer satisfaction in each of their accounts in addition to growing and developing
referenceable customers through their investigation, analysis, consulting, coaching, knowledge
transfer, and relationship-building efforts.
- Application specific expert consulting (for a specific application: creation of business blueprint, Implementation based on a blueprint, creation of test cases, test scheduling and execution, key user training, go live support, and post go live support)
- Support in escalated projects
- Performance of feasibility studies / solution reviews
- Support of pre-sales activities (license and consulting)
- Identifying and applying Integrated Service Delivery options
- Taking over responsibility from time to time as a sub project team lead
- Takes responsibility from time to time as team lead and supports respective line manager(s) in people development tasks
- Detailed planning of process implementation
- Define detailed blueprint for development requirements
- Industry /corporate process implementation across all related applications (SAP/non-SAP)
- Develop and Assure quality of process models
- Demonstrating expert knowledge of modeling standards and tools
- 25-50% travel might be required
WORK EXPERIENCE
Functional Experience
- Minimum seven years consulting experience in application
- Has experience with minimum of minimum 6 full cycle implementations
- Deep understanding of industry specific business processes (if applicable)
- Has performed several business cases
- Has managed difficult client situations
- Understands the Business Process Library approach and is contributing to it
- Acts as a moderator in the KM environment
Managerial Experience
- Acted as a team lead in more than 2 projects
- Acts as a coach or mentor for colleagues
EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS
- Business Degree or comparable work qualifications
- SAP project experience as independent consultant or through a Consulting firm
- Profound knowledge of Retail Business Processes with strong focus on SAP Finance & Accounting
- Profound knowledge of SAP software
- Knowledge and Hands-On experience with regards to SAP Financial modules
- Experienced using business orientated software and technical aptitude
- Excellent analytical, results-driven and solution-oriented approach
- Ability to work with larger teams and strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong listening skills along with conflict management skills to solve problems from all parties, outlining the pros and cons and challenges to audience to make a collective decision to resolve an issue
- Capability of leading meetings and in getting the audience to interact

Compensation Range Transparency: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 146,000 - 326,100 USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
