Overview
This position will assist with maintaining and supporting the Business Systems application environments, configure application settings and security, and troubleshoot complex system and data issues. The position will communicate with vendors, functional teams, and reporting teams on system issues, assist with managing application configurations, upgrades, data copies and replications. Systems Administrators identify and implement system and data solutions. Children’s Mercy utilizes Infor Cloudsuite and the delivered reporting suite of applications as well as internally developed SQL databases to support the operational reporting needs of the organization. This position will assist with build of reports, dashboards, workflows, scripts and queries to support the Business Systems applications as needed. Investigate and implement new technology presented by the vendor for data replication, reporting, analytics, and workflows. Database administration tasks include executing and assisting with build of jobs and processes to extract and load data into data warehouses and data marts, develop and maintain analytics cubes, and work closely with DBAs to monitor and optimize performance of databases.

Responsibilities
- Create system programs and provide technical application support
- Meet with both internal and external customers within the enterprise to determine needs and possibilities, to outline projects and requirements, to establish timelines and issue resolution to provide support through all phases of the project.
- Utilizing available resources within the IT community internal and external expand knowledge and expertise.
- Report progress, issues, and project details to supervisor.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree Programming, CCL, MSSQL, OracleSQL, Visual Studio and 3-5 years experience
- Or HS diploma or equivalent or Associate's degree and 7 or more years experience may be accepted in lieu of a Bachelor's degree
- Applications support experience and in depth knowledge of Microsoft SQL administration and query language.
- Knowledge of the Infor Cloudsuite data structures and analytics/reporting applications support would be preferred.
Remote Work/Work from Home
This position is entirely remote or work-from-home. The person hired must live in the Kansas City metro area and may attend on-site meetings, as scheduled.
