Who we are looking for
As a key member for the Platform engineering team part of Data Services platform; you will be responsible to drive automation in the platform. We are looking for an engineering focused and experienced Engineer with strong grounding on Public cloud concepts preferably Azure (any other Cloud vendor is a plus), principles, Infrastructure as Code, Operations & Automation.
This role can be performed in a hybrid model, where you can balance work from home and office to match your needs and role requirements.
What you will be responsible for
As a Devops Engineer you will have
- Deep experience in managing Automation and Operations of the Data Services Platform on Public Cloud.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of setting up production, staging and development environment on Public Cloud.
- Strong hands-on knowledge on technologies like Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes.
- Proficient in writing Helm charts, Kubernetes yaml files and deployment of microservices into Kubernetes clusters.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD tools like Jenkins.
- Strong skills in configuration management of tools such a GitHub/Gitlab.
- Experienced in managing artifacts in repository-ACR, JFrog.
- Experienced in infrastructure management & monitoring.
- Strong understanding of high-performance computing
- Experience working and collaborating with multiple stake holders involved in the SDLC.
- Escalate issues with Microsoft support as needed.
- Good understanding of scripting language such as PowerShell, Bash, Python to support automation.
- Work with platform architects to define components responsibilities, plan components evolution, and ensure components will meet platform needs.
- Develop scripts to automate the deployment of resource stacks and associated configurations specific to the Data Services platform
- Troubleshooting and resolving issues reported by monitoring systems and submitted through the ticketing system of fully documented issues, actions taken, and steps for resolution
- Strong troubleshooting skills to find the root causes, experienced in using logging tool Splunk.
- Containerization and migration of applications to Kubernetes.
- Performing other tasks as defined, planned, and approved by team lead

- Banking and finance domain Knowledge
- Knowledge in cloud technologies(AWS/Azure/Google Cloud)
- At least two years of experience with Docker, Helm, Kubernetes, etc., and cloud deployment technologies
- Good working experience on Public Cloud preferably Azure
- Automation focused and engineering mind set
- Experience with design and development of solutions across on-prem and the cloud for large enterprises
- Strong understanding of cloud native design patterns and DevOps principles (Infrastructure as Code)
- Openness and ability to learn new skills and technologies in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated and passionate individual Team player; Ability to effectively communicate ideas and escalate issues across teams in a timely manner
- Experience with Splunk, Dynatrace, and various platforms including AWS and Azure cloud instances experience a plus
- Must have worked on DevOps continuous testing frameworks and testing automation.
- You will have the opportunity to influence DevOps tools and techniques used as well participate or lead technology evaluations or proof of concepts so remaining active and current on technology trends is essential
- Experience with automating deployment, scaling, and management of container applications using Docker
Education & Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 8-12 years of IT experience in a hands-on role with 2-3+ years of experience designing and supporting Public cloud environments
- Deep understanding of Microsoft Azure IAAS, PAAS and SAAS solutions along with cloud native design patterns and DevOps principles (Infrastructure as Code)
- Appropriate certifications are strongly preferred, demonstrating an understanding of core infrastructure concepts as well as data and/or DevOps principles
- Deep understanding of cloud computing technologies with demonstrated hands-on experience in one or more of the following domains:
- Core IaaS: Compute, Storage, Networking, High Availability
- Kubernetes.
- Data Platform and Bigdata: Spark, Data Bricks
- Strong programming and scripting background in languages such as shell scripts, python, Java etc.
- Experience in designing, coding and deploying Terraform and/or ARM templates/Cloud Formation.
- Demonstrated experience in full stack automation
- Ability to develop and document deliverables compliant with established company design control and regulatory statutes

Salary Range:
$140,000 - $222,500 Annual
The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
