We are currently looking for a Head of SAP Learning System Product Management who will lead our 10+ people strong PM team. As a Manager of Product Management, you'll be expected to invest in the development of your team by helping to define clear development plans and expectations while also holding each Product Manager accountable for success. Additionally, you'll need to provide resources, coaching, and regular, actionable feedback. The Head of SAP Learning System Product Management must be able to help define strategies for large, ambiguous product areas and help guide their teams on how to maximize the impact of those strategies by using data and research to create effective execution and experimentation frameworks. This role requires the ability to communicate cross-functionally and build strong relationships with Business Managers, Engineering Managers, and Design Managers.

What you'll do
· Lead the SAP Learning System Product Management team
· Establish a shared vision across the teams by building consensus on priorities leading to product execution.
· Establish state-of-the-art product processes, which integrate web analytics, user data tracking, usability studies, research, user and customer feedback, and market analysis into product requirements to enhance user satisfaction
· Use metrics, user and design research to prioritize a roadmap on how to build a world-class learning experience
· Understand SAP’s strategic and competitive position to deliver products that are best in class
· Maximise efficiency in a constantly evolving environment where the process is fluid and fast decision-making is the norm
· Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices: You will need to stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in product management and design to ensure that your team is delivering the best possible products to customers.
What you'll bring
Required skills
· Strong business acumen, with organisational and analytical skills.
· 2+ years experience designing and/or implementing consumer-facing products.
· Fluent in written and spoken English and have strong presentation skills.
· Experience leading a product team in a fast-paced environment, intrapreneurship team, or similar.
· BA/BS in Computer Science, Business, Design, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Preferred skills
· Experience in product management aspects (UX, development, customer support, marketing).
· Experience developing consumer-grade SaaS products, technologies and platforms.
· 2-3 years of experience in product management aspects (UX, development, customer support, marketing).
· 1+ years of experience in technical architecture of web applications.
· MA/MS/MBA in Computer Science, Business, Design, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
Work Experience / Ideal Candidate:
· 4+ years as a product leader
· A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in product management or design in a SaaS company
· Experience with design thinking, agile development methodologies, and user-centered design processes
· Experience in conducting user research, data analysis, and market research to inform product decisions
In addition to education and work experience, an ideal candidate should possess strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, excellent communication skills, technical knowledge, and a customer-centric focus. A combination of technical expertise and business acumen would be valuable in leading product development in the competitive SaaS industry.
