We are currently recruiting for a Senior DevOps Engineer to report to our DevOps Lead as part of the growth of our tech team. This would be a full-time role and remotely based.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain tools for deployment, monitoring and operations.
- Infrastructure automation using Terraform to provision components in the cloud
- Build CI/CD pipeline configurations to orchestrate provisioning and deployment of both large and small-scale systems.
- Implement robust logging & automate tools/solutions to monitor system health
- Absorb and anticipate requirements from Developers and Product Managers to lay the groundwork for technical breakthroughs at the company.
- Troubleshoot issues and streamline code deployment across environments
- Documentation of current processes and updating documentation with process changes
- Communicate status and risks to the product teams.
- Application Support & Release management
Requirements
- Over 4 years experience building Cl/CD pipeline with tools such as Jenkins, AWS Code Build/Code Deploy, Git flows
- In-depth knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (laC) tools such as Terraform, Kubernetes and Cloud Formation
- Experience with AWS services including VPC, 1AM, EC2, RDS, EKS, CloudWatch, S3, RDS, Lambda.
- Passionate about Continuous Build, Integration, Test, and Delivery systems.
- Experience with software development processes such as building, unit testing, code analysis, release process, and code coverage.
- Source control management such as Git, Artifactory
- Experience with any modern observability/monitoring systems such as ELK, SumoLogic, New Relic etc .
- Hands on Experience with Python/Bash, Php, Ansible, HELM Charts, Kustomize etc
- Able to perform Chaos Engineering and identify Gaps within Infrastructure
- Any experience with Magento is a Plus.
- You’ll be comfortable working alongside a small team, delivering a DevOps and SRE Functionality service to some of the highest industry standards where possible.
- Strong communication skills with an Agile and team mindset.
- Deep knowledge of AWS is required, certification in AWS professional is preferred
- Deep knowledge of networking.
- Knowledge of operating Kafka at scale.
- Creating optimal configurations of Apache and NGNIX.
- Ability to maintain optimal clusters for MySQL, MongoDB, HTTP and application servers.
