Job Description:
Assist the Marketing Specialist in executing a digital marketing campaign. For this campaign, the tasks of the intern will include (but not limited to):
1. Developing and maintaining a social media calendar
2. Brainstorming and researching ideas for content
3. Designing, creating and writing relevant content that is aligned with the company s brand, tone and voice
4. Assist in preparation of reports on digital marketing campaign performance
5. Interpret data and based on the report, make actionable recommendations
6. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in digital marketing
Market research:
1. Collect data by supermarket visits, online market research and catalogue findings for products available in the UAE market
2. Update supermarket database for UAE (Dubai and Abu Dhabi) as per collected data
3. Analyze data from the supermarket database
4. Identify growth opportunities and create a supermarket analysis report
5. Market observations what is happening in the market? Product concepts & development Develop product mock-ups for different concepts Other tasks This will include other marketing support needed by the marketing specialist during the internship period
Skills Required:
1. Current enrollment in a bachelor s / master s degree program in Marketing or related field
2. Experience or basic knowledge using Adobe Illustrator and other content creation tools such as canva or motion graphics tools
3. Computer skills
4. Proficiency with Microsoft word, excel and powerpoint
5. Strong desire to learn
6. Passion for digital marketing, research and its best practices
Qualifications:
Current enrollment in a bachelor s / master s degree program in Marketing or related field
