Overview: Digital marketing involves the promotion of products and services through a variety of digital channels, using the internet and mobile technology. Push and pull marketing techniques are applied, targeting consumers both directly and indirectly. This role will be primarily centered around Trolley’s app, loyalty program and online channels (website and social media). Required knowledge of the below is a must: • social media marketing –maintaining our brand’s distinct online presence by attracting and maintaining high numbers of internet followers through social media channels such as Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram and TikTok. • search engine optimisation (SEO) - developing strategies to increase the number of visitors to a website by achieving high-ranking placements in search results. • pay-per-click (PPC) campaigns - sponsored online advertising paid for by the business to appear alongside non-paid search results. • mobile marketing - includes app-based, in-game, location-based and SMS marketing. • affiliate marketing - where a business allows other businesses (affiliates) to sell products on their website or app. The affiliate is paid commission for each customer brought to the website by their own marketing strategies. • MailChimp. MailChimp is a social advertising and email marketing tool designed to orchestrate and automate digital marketing campaigns. ... • Google Analytics • Google Ads • Canva Business • Yoast SEO • Gameball • (and /or similar digital marketing tools and software) – you will be expected to present your expertise level at the interview stage Responsibilities As a digital marketer, you will need to: • create and upload copy and images for the organisation's website, e-commerce platforms and app • develop and integrate content marketing strategies • develop and integrate the online marketing calendar to tie in key dates, offline marketing calendar and social media dates • develop and integrate marketing calendar for the loyalty program • manage the app CRM database and software effectively • target and retarget app customers to make the highest possible conversion to sales • write and dispatch email marketing campaigns, and monitor efficacy • provide accurate reports and analysis to clients (suppliers) and the Marketing Manager to demonstrate effective return on investment (ROI) • research new online media opportunities that will benefit the business including mobile, social media, development of blogs and forums • work with the graphic design team to website and app banners and assist with all web and app visuals • communicate with clients, affiliate networks and affiliate partners where needed • conduct keyword research and web statistics reporting • contribute to social media engagement and brand awareness campaigns online • use web analytics software to monitor the performance of the app and website and make recommendations for improvement • manage e-communications for the app and website, including offers, loyalty offers and tactical campaigns • assist with paid media, including liaising with digital advertising agencies when needed • keep up to date with current digital trends and make the needed recommendations to e-commerce and marketing team • manage the contact database and assist with lead generation activities • negotiate with media suppliers to achieve the best price for the business • manage suppliers relations on the app and website
