Job Purpose
Responsible for assisting in strengthening and maintaining the Museum’s online presence/ visibility through different channels, achieving the goals of awareness and promotion and handling interaction with online audience.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- To manage the Museum’s digital marketing channels, including social media, web site, email … etc.
- Develop with the support of the MarCom manager the annual social media strategy.
- Develop monthly plans to manage and publish on social media platforms and channel.
- Develop and issue quarter reports that measure the performance of the social media strategies and plans.
- Provide input to the MarCom plans and campaigns done developed for various projects.
- Provide an annual budget forecast to cover digital marketing activities costs across all projects/ campaigns.
- Support to other departments in producing related videos.
- Archiving/ Filing of (Museum’s photos of all years, monthly posting plans, annual social media strategies, social media reports.
- To develop and implement digital marketing strategies and campaigns using digital marketing channels to raise awareness, promote services and drive traffic.
- To generate, write and edit content for the web site, social media … etc. and share it through online marketing channels.
- To continuously analyze and evaluate campaigns’ performance, marketing channels’ effectiveness and feedback from users/ fans.
- To provide recommendations and prepare periodic reports on campaigns’ performance and related analytics.
- To keep the web site up-to-date and improve the user experience on the web site by improving content, layout … etc.
- To handle online interaction with users and reply to messages, comments and reviews.
Qualifications and Communications
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing or any related field.
• 2-3 Years of experience in a related field.
• A certified social media and digital marketing expert training course is a plus.
- To ensure that implemented campaigns and strategies work in line with Marketing Department’s plans and match the Museum’s strategic goals.
- To perform any other job-related tasks assigned by the direct manager
