Job Title: Associate Director, (Consulting)

Location: Dubai

Job Purpose: Associate Director is in-charge of a Infrastructure & Datacentre BU, plays a technocommercial role for the BU and ensures successful delivery of projects to end customers. Associated Director will also monitor and manage several Senior Managers and Principal consultants. Responsible for the revenue and profitability of the BU

· Responsible for practice P&L, ensuring quality of delivery and building competency

· Responsible for revenue growth in existing customer accounts and ensuring customer success

· Driving strategy and propositions, including positioning, market plans, account plans and new service creation for the BU Create, manage, develop and improve strong, long-term relationships at a senior level with existing, prospective and target clients.

· Generate new relationships with clients in the region that are of a significant scale Providing executive sponsorship for projects and ensuring customer success

· Conducting regular project reviews to ensure delivery excellence Produce and execute capture plans for major opportunities (events, trade shows), working closely with the marketing teams and, where necessary, providing leadership.

· Provide effective customer relationship management and maintain a watching brief on all business secured.

· Ensure the delivery teams provide the agreed service levels, that problems/incidents are resolved, that services continue to meet customers' needs, that existing contracts and revenue streams are developed and protected, and that ongoing customer satisfaction is achieved.

· Building a team of consultants and SBU owners, including determining resource requirements and leading recruitment activities.

· Lead, motivate and manage these people, ensuring they are provided with clearly defined and measurable objectives and the administrative support, knowledge management and training they require.

· As required, act as a trusted advisory to customers and deliver high-value consulting engagements personally with this including leading other delivery personnel in a matrix environment.

· Overall, the anticipated split of the Associate Directors time will be 60% on Sales, 10% Management, 30% Delivery Management Experience in Data Centre build, virtualisation, infrastructure projects in general, backup, storage, private cloud Experience with vendors like VMware, HPE, Huawei, Dell etc are preferred

Primarily for someone from an infrastructure background, experience in VMware, Dell, Huawei, Data centre build and delivery experience.
