Within the Global Partner Ecosystem Success (PES) Strategic Partnerships organization, the SVP of Global Strategic Services Partners (GSSP) Americas-centric will lead a team of Partner Managers to drive co-innovation and build complimentary go to market activities around the following areas:
- Drive the Digital Core (SAP S/4HANA), including RISE with SAP adoption in the Marketplace
- Drive innovation on the SAP Business Technology Platform
- Accelerate Industry and LoB specific growth initiatives
- Align and work with GSSPs and internal stakeholders within PES on Partner Enablement, focus LoBs, Partner Delivery Excellence, etc.
- Align and work with GSSPs and internal stakeholders along the Customer Lifetime Value engagement phases.

What you will do
The candidate will be responsible for the following activities:
- Manage a portfolio including the following Global Strategic Services Partners: Accenture, Deloitte, DxC, EY, and IBM.
- Lead a team of SAP senior Partner Business Managers
- Develop and align the GSSP strategy to achieve SAP’s and PES goals and objectives including SAP’s transformation to become a partner-centric company and its business transformation to achieve an 11b€ ACV touched by partners by 2025
- Develop and support the execution of the joint strategic partnerships between SAP and relevant GSSPs
- Identify and evaluate new key growth and innovation areas for strategic partnerships. In close cooperation with SAP and the partner’s stakeholders, lead the development of business cases and Board presentations and regular updates for new market and collaboration opportunities including GTM and development of relationships
- Successful execution and tracking of joint strategic initiatives
- Define implementation plan for each initiative that will exceed the agreed performance measures
- Establish executive cadence to ensure all projects are progressing as planned and any roadblocks are addressed in a timely manner
- Create and maintain balanced scorecard and aligned KPI’s
- Identify, enable, and implement joint innovation to better respond to customer and partner demands and increase satisfaction
- Leverage other SAP services and organizations for operational partner management tasks in managing the relationship with the corresponding GSSPs
- Management of the corresponding GSSP Agreements and related contractual obligations for both SAP and the GSSPs
- Work closely with the Head of Global Strategic Services Partners EMEA and APJ-centric
- Align strategy and focus areas in the partnerships with Regions and Market Units working as a global virtual team
- Support 360-degree relationships and ensure operational excellence and joint execution with defined KPI’s and leading indicators.
What you’ll bring
- Knowledge – Strong understanding of SAP, its products and solutions, partners, markets, and competition. Strong knowledge of market trends and growth opportunities, best business practices and business models. Experience in managing complex contractual and IP relationships.
- Services – Expertise coupled with business acumen for the SAP Services market, customer engagement and P&L responsibility.
- Technology – Expertise coupled with business acumen for cloud commercial consumption platform-based models in bringing co-innovation to market with the field sales organizations.
- Skills – Strong interpersonal and presentation skills. Works well with the Executive team across the organization. Has the ability to recruit project team members from multiple functional areas.
- Attributes – Strategic thinker who is solution oriented and driven to close on opportunities in close cooperation with others. Highly analytical. Brings a high level of integrity and confidence and is positive and flexible.
- Leadership – Capable of leading a team of high potential individuals. Demonstrated ability to drive change and to influence the organization to execute on opportunities. Able to quickly identify opportunities and define clear strategies for exploiting them.
- High potential leader with 15+ years sales, software development, services and/or business development experience in the software industry.
- Experience working with global services partners.
- Deep understanding of SAP strategy and solutions, and the IT market / future trends.
- MBA or advanced degree in related discipline preferred. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering or Computer Science required.
- In summary, the ideal candidate is well balance between business, services, technology, people, and operations leadership.

Compensation Range Transparency: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 327,300 - 556,400 USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
