YOUR FUTURE ROLE
With us, you will make a difference! We are looking for a new team member in the SAP SuccessFactors Security Compliance Team to support and service as the Data Protection & Privacy Unit Coordinator.
You will sustain and uplift Data Privacy compliance in SAP SuccessFactors. In your role, you will consult and provide support around Data Protection & Privacy and personal data handling to internal colleagues and units.
You will inform or notify SAP SuccessFactors Product Management, Product Engineering, and Cloud Operations global teams to gain deep insight into many data protection related business activities, and partner with a community of like-minded colleagues who ensure the highest data protection levels for our customers.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
As a Data Protection Unit Coordinator in the dynamic SAP SuccessFactors Security Compliance team, you act as main driver for the guidance and compliance of SAP SuccessFactors’ data protection requirements as well as trusted advisor for business specific data protection topics. In this role your primary tasks will include:
• Monitoring and reviewing of business unit’s data protection compliance
• Performance of gap analysis to improve compliance and identify potential risks
• Follow-up on identified gaps and escalation to management, as appropriate
• Support of data protection cross projects in cooperation with other teams
• Alignment with other business units for continuous compliance improvement
This will include:
• Support the Data Protection & Privacy (DPP) team & Product/Development Units with the organization to deliver concepts, guidelines, and best practices, including maintenance of Wiki space and internal documentation
• Coordinate and collaborate with stakeholders and DPP Experts from SAP SuccessFactors Product Management, Product Engineering, Architecture, and Cloud Operations regarding DPP related compliance topics
• Managing DPP as a critical program for customer success
• Partnering with Procedure Enrollment Tool (PET) entry owners regarding driving compliance
• Lead and support during Data Protection Management System (DPMS) audits by SAP DPO
• Support customer requests regarding SAP SuccessFactors DPP compliance
• Organize and report governance metrics related to DPP compliance
• Support compliance activities of the SAP Data Protection Management System (DPMS) in close collaboration with the central Data Protection & Privacy Office and the SAP SuccessFactors Product Management, Development, Architecture, and Cloud Operations units
• Appropriate handling of business sensitive and even critical information in a positive manner across different hierarchies
• Align with our Data Protection & Privacy Office (Legal and DPP experts)
• Maintain and update information material such as JAM pages, SharePoint, and MS Teams
YOUR PROFILE
Required skills:
• Passionate and curious to learn, improve and develop
• Proficient verbal and written English skills
• Ability to work independently and to work on different parallel activities and in multiple teams under tight deadlines
• Team spirit, with intercultural awareness
• Experience in GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation), HIPAA, PIPEDA, and/or other data privacy frameworks
• Good MS Office knowledge and experience
• Ability to solve the problems with ‘think out of the box’ attitude
Preferred skills:
• Experience with Data Governance Program Management
• Experience with information maintenance in SharePoint / Wiki

The team’s mission is to ensure that SAP SuccessFactors and SAP Cloud Platform continues to safeguard and improve Data Protection compliance for SAP SuccessFactors which our customers run their core business services on.
As such the team is central in the SAP SuccessFactors and development process and highly connected with the various stakeholders within the SAP organization and beyond, including external stakeholders and our customers.
There is simply no faster entry into the broader SAP SuccessFactors community and to its end-to-end processes in the software than data protection because you need to get the holistic picture as well as the network to succeed in Data Protection.
