What you’ll do:
Position title: SAP iXp Intern – SAP Deal Advisory Team
Location: Barcelona, Spain
Expected start date: July 2022 (6 months with possible extension to 1 year)
About the role
Your mission as Deal Advisory Intern is to assist the team with its daily operations while also providing “Sales & Deal Support” to our SAP sales executives.
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS:
I. Within the Deal Advisory Team you will be responsible for: (50% of your time)
- Assist in Daily Operations: Meeting Preparation, Follow-up on Action Plans, Prepare communications.
- Presentations: Prepare & Review strategic presentations for management.
- Follow-up on Strategic Programs initiated & led by the Deal Advisory Team.
- Organization of internal enablement sessions with Sales: Manage an events calendar to plan training & enablement sessions.
- Reporting & Communication: Run ad-hoc analysis and data consolidation, preparation of strategic reporting & communications to key stakeholders & management.
- Marketing & Branding (Optional. Is a plus.): Bring your creative ideas into how we brand our team (layout, visuals, video’s, …)
II. Sales & Deal Support: (50% of your time)
The Deal Advisory Associate will be acting as a deal support center for SAP Sales Executives within the EMEA Midmarket organization focusing on the support and processes associated with On-Premises & Cloud deals. The main function of the Deal Advisory Associate is to accelerate internal sales-cycle by providing full-support to the Sales Executives regarding volume business. As such, the Deal Advisory Associate would be expected to provide support to the Sales teams in the process of proposals and quotes for existing and prospective customers to ensure that SAP can win deals, increase market share and grow the revenue stream. You will actively work with Sales Executives on Pricing, Quoting, and Contract Management with a primary focus on our volume business & non-revenue cases. This position will require significant multi-tasking and willingness to assist Midmarket Sales Executives by leveraging multiple stakeholders in the SAP landscape.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for execution of On-Premises & Cloud deal types in coordination with Sales Executives: Process customer requests for selling deals and completing the required paperwork along with Sales Executives (CRM Opportunities, Quotations, Order Forms,..).
- Increase deal velocity and improve the engagement model with sales executives, sales leadership, and other stakeholders.
This is a highly visible role which requires extensive interaction with Sales Executives and staff members across Finance, Pricing, Rev Rec, and Legal.
Who you are / Your skillset
- Ideally doing an MBA or in your last years of your masters (International Business, Legal, Finance, Marketing or other).
- Strong analytical, organizational and planning skills (Project management experience is a plus).
- Keen to work on meaningful innovative projects.
- Excellent English language skills – written and verbal.
- Strong interpersonal skills: Proactivity, problem-solver mind, team spirit.
- Good ability to communicate via different channel (email/Videos/Social media).
- Experience with video editing tools is a plus.
- Advanced Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint.
