- Work alongside a ‘Product Owner’ / Senior Business Analyst on the Credit module(s), developing forward-thinking systems and features within the CTRM and outside (i.e Extract and Reports /BI tools)
- Design integrated solutions with other product owners across locations and across stream (Finance, Front-Office, Risk..) and across commodities and asset classes (oil, natural gas, power, derivatives)
- Work hand-in-hand with a dedicated team of C# (WPF) developers.
- Be part of the SDLC for all Credit developments
- Keep a constant specified and prioritized backlog of stories to develop and lead the development throughout Daily Stand-up and workshops under the supervision of the Product Owner
- Participate in daily standups
- Gather requirements across the group’s location and department (i.e Geneva, Singapore, Houston..)
- Maintain an up-to-date list of specifications in JIRA (Taking part actively in backlog refinement sessions with the Agile team)
- Report to the Product Owner and/or the PMO the progress of your deliveries.
- Act as a 1st level Support when required on the module you will work on.
- Work hand-in-hand with the QA (testers) in the testing of your stories and assist them improve the regression tests
- Provide quick-wins to your user base (i.e. Using PowerBI report for instance)
- Minimum 2-3 years of previous relevant professional experience in IT or a Software Company or a Banking/Trading related company.
- Understanding of what an IT Business Analyst does.
- Eager to learn new skills (i.e Credit, ETRMs)
- Knowledge of the Commodity space, or Derivatives or Banking Product.
- Experience of providing excellent Customer Service to a local and global user base.
- Understanding of database design, SQL and Report generation within business applications.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written).
- General skills on ICT technologies.
- Understanding of Credit Risk
- Good knowledge of any of the following commodities (Gas, Power, Coal, Emissions, Agriculture) and has the ability to learn.
- Proven experience in lengthy implementation and/or upgrade of CTRM/ETRM, Trading (Physical/Financial)
- Certifications/experience on any of the following will be very useful: Microsoft software technologies, Software design, development and testing methodologies / concepts, Project management, ITIL., Technical certification
- Ability to debug/write stored procedures
