Job Summary: Looking for an IT Support Specialist in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE)
Job Key Details:
- Respond promptly to support requests and provide timely resolutions to technical issues
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software problems, including desktops, laptops, printers as well as peripherals
- Install, configure and maintain computer systems and software, ensuring compatibility and adherence to organizational standards
- Handle user accounts, permissions and access rights to ensure data security and confidentiality
- Work with the IT team to identify and implement proactive measures to prevent technical issues and enhance system performance
- Respond appropriately to emergency situations and assists other staff members in maintaining readiness to respond to emergencies within the workplace
- First contact resolution and troubleshooting via phone and remote access tools
- Managing Incidents through incident management service portal
- Provide training and support to employees on the effective use of technology including software applications and hardware devices
- Document and maintain accurate records of technical issues, resolutions, and troubleshooting steps
- Carry out any other related tasks as may be required
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
- Proven experience as an IT Support Specialist or in a similar technical support role
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, networks, and operating systems
- Proficient in troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- A strong sense of responsibility and commitment to providing high-quality support
