Position: Junior SAAS/Backend/DevOps Engineer (Kubernetes Required)

We are currently seeking a talented Junior SAAS/Backend/DevOps Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will collaborate with our senior DevOps engineer and founder, working on a range of exciting brands across diverse sectors. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge DevOps solutions using Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Kubernetes, while building and managing infrastructure for multiple brands. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to work from anywhere.


Responsibilities:


  • Develop small and large-scale SAAS/DevOps solutions utilizing GCP.
  • Utilize Managed Kubernetes and Cloud Run to manage infrastructure for various brands.
  • Work with a diverse tech stack including PHP (Laravel), Dart (Server Side), and Node.js.
  • Provide stable support to rapidly growing, fast-paced companies.
  • Learn and utilize advanced Kubernetes concepts such as Service without selectors and EndpointSlice (https://kubernetes.io/docs/concepts/services-networking/endpoint-slices/).
  • Experience with external service clusters, primarily dealing with managed databases and cloud storage using GCP.
  • Utilize GitLab, pipelines, and DevOps deployments.
  • Act quickly and efficiently multitask.
  • Communicate confidently and effectively.
  • Collaborate as a team player and contribute to a positive work environment.
  • Thrive in a small, dynamic company that is experiencing rapid growth.


Requirements:


  • Few years work experience 
  • Strong passion for DevOps and a desire to continuously learn and improve.
  • Ability to provide stable support to fast-paced companies.
  • Experience with GCP, Kubernetes, and CI/CD.
  • Proficiency in Node.js and Dart (Server Side).
  • Familiarity with GitLab, including pipelines and DevOps deployments.
  • Excellent multitasking and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills in English.
  • Positive attitude and ability to work effectively in a team.


Nice to have:


  • Experience with Postgres databases.
  • Familiarity with additional programming languages.
  • Proficiency in using GitLab for version control and continuous integration.
