As Sr. IT Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our company’s IT infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include providing technical support to end-users, managing network security, administering systems, handling procurement activities, supporting CCTV systems, and performing hardware repairs.

  • Providing prompt and effective technical support to end-users, addressing software and hardware issues, and ensuring timely problem resolution.
  • Managing and maintaining Sonicwall and Fortigate firewalls to safeguard network security, implement access controls, and monitor network traffic.
  • Administering Google Workspace, including user accounts, email services, and document collaboration tools. Maintain and optimize Avaya telephony systems and Dell server infrastructure.
  • Supporting Unifi networking devices, including switches, access points, and routers, ensuring optimal performance and connectivity.
  • Managing and maintaining virtualized environments using technologies, ensuring the stability and efficient operation of virtual servers and desktops.
  • Provide support for both Windows and macOS platforms, assisting end-users with troubleshooting, configuration, and software installations.
  • Supporting Android and iOS devices, including troubleshooting, configuration, and ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Maintaining knowledge of CCTV systems, particularly Hikvision, ensuring proper functioning, troubleshooting issues, and managing access controls.
  • Performing level 1 and level 2 hardware repairs on laptops, including component replacements, upgrades, and maintenance tasks.

Your skills would include:

  • Proficiency in supporting Windows and macOS operating systems, Android and iOS devices, and basic printer troubleshooting.
  • Experience handling quotes, raising purchase orders (POs), and managing vendor relationships.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical individuals.
  • Strong customer service orientation with a focus on delivering exceptional support to end-users.
  • Relevant certifications in Google Workspace, Sonicwall Firewall, Fortigate Firewall, or other related technologies are a plus.
