What You'll Be Doing

• Develop backend applications and improve the quality of our system architecture
• Refine, and tune integrations between partners
• Design our next big from scratch

What You'll Bring

• 2+ years of experience in backend development using Node.js with TypeScript, including asynchronous programming, and building scalable, performant systems.
• Strong understanding of Node.js architecture, error handling, and fault tolerance mechanisms.
• Familiarity with designing and implementing retry strategies for API calls and asynchronous operations.
• Solid knowledge of creating abstractions for interacting with external services and consuming APIs.
• Experience with data modeling, SQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL), and writing optimized queries.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on debugging, optimizing code, and handling complex scenarios.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Bonus Points If You Have

• B.Sc. in Computer Science or a similar discipline
• Experience in Remix.run
• Proficiency in using version control systems like Git and working collaboratively in a team environment.
• Understanding of security best practices in web application development.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with caching mechanisms and technologies (e.g., Redis, Memcached).
• Understanding of performance optimization techniques and profiling tools.
• Knowledge of frontend technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript) for better collaboration with frontend developers.
• Experience with testing frameworks and practices, including unit testing and integration testing.
• Understanding of DevOps principles and experience with CI/CD pipelines.
