About Us

RCN Capital, LLC is a national, direct private lender providing time-sensitive, bridge financing to real

estate investors to fund the purchase of non-owner occupied residential and commercial properties,

provide bridge loans, and provide real estate-backed lines of credit.

We’re seeking a DevOps Engineer to join our Technology team! This is a great opportunity to play a

key role in providing guidance and leadership to our BI team and work directly with company leadership

to set standards and achieve the vision we have to remain an industry leader in both lending and

technology.


DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

➢ Collaborate with and provide oversight from a DevOps perspective for the agile development

team in a collaborative environment to configure and maintain development and production

environments on an AWS cloud infrastructure, which may include software installations,

updates, and core services

➢ Develop and provide training to level I engineers and other team members

➢ Handle escalated DevOps tasks and work with the engineering team to address problems

➢ Implement release automation solution as per the defined target architecture or operating

model.

➢ Implement Branching & Merging solutions as well as provide direction for various development,

testing, automation tools, and IT infrastructure including creating and maintaining automation

scripts and configuring and maintaining software and hardware monitoring tools

➢ Release Orchestration and Automation.

➢ Change Life-cycle Management.

➢ Define and execute development, test, release, update, and support CI/CD processes

➢ Identify technology task inefficiencies, risks, and bottlenecks and propose solutions

➢ Oversee and participate in creating and updating documentation

➢ Monitor a wide range of products for security, stability, and uptime

➢ Other tasks and projects as assigned by the VP, Technology


SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:

➢ Technical skill to review, verify, and validate the software code

➢ Excellent analytical, problem-solving skills

➢ Self-motivated team builder with a strong sense of ownership

➢ hands-on experience of programming in languages such as PHP, Javascript, Java, .net, or

similar language.

➢ Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in software engineering and IT industries-1+ years

experience setting up and scaling development Infrastructure

➢ 2+ years experience with LAMP stack

➢ Experience with Continuous Integration & Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) processes and tools.


➢ Experience with Linux OS

➢ Experience with GIT

➢ Experience with automation tools such as Jenkins

➢ Experience with being part of a development team that works on a web-based business

application

➢ Experience with Azure DevOps

➢ Experience with designing and deploying AWS Services like Elastic Compute (EC2), Storages

(S3, EBS, EFS, Glacier, and AWS Storage Gateway) and RDS


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

➢ Bachelor's degree in Information Technology discipline or related field of study (e.g., Computer

Science, Software Engineering, Telecommunication, Math) required

➢ Master's degree in Information Technology discipline or related field of study (e.g., Computer

Science, Software Engineering, Telecommunication, Math) preferred

➢ AWS Certification DevOps Engineer required.


SCHEDULE:

➢ Full Time, Monday-Friday

➢ Business hours are 9:00AM to 6:00PM, EST
