Role: Senior Network security Engineer for a client in Doha, QATAR

Job Purpose Statement:

We are looking for a skilled Firewall Professional Service Engineer. The ideal candidate will have experience in complete Networking, Security understanding of all OSI layers, working knowledge on Firewall. The candidate should have Minimum of 10+ yrs.’ Experience in Network Security, Firewall implementation, operations and administration, Azure cloud security.

Job Descriptions:

Device health checks, Firmware upgrades, Cluster configuration, interface mapping, and understanding of network design and architecture
Excellent understanding of network topology, firewall, switches, routers, NIPS, application gateways, load monitoring, proxy devices etc.
Responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting network infrastructure solutions and services for the Cisco FTD, Cisco Firepower Management Center, preferably in & CIsco ISE in a large/global enterprise environment.
administration the Network Security Firewall Management Platforms, Cisco FTD, Cisco FMC, Cisco Identity Service Engine (ISE), Fortinet, Palo Alto
Working experience in Security Operations as well as Implementation/ Planning of Cisco ISE, Security Devices specifically Cisco FTD, Cisco Firepower Management Center and Having thorough knowledge/ working experience of all features within Cisco FTD, Cisco Firepower Management Center, Cisco ISE
Excellent hands-on experience and knowledge implementing, configuring, integrating, and supporting the network security with Cisco ISE, Palo Alto, Bluecoat security solutions, or Fortinet.
Knowledge of Cisco FTD Firewall and strong routing & switching experience is an added advantage
Understanding of overall data center topology and troubleshooting application issues
Expertise in implementing/integrating/administration LAN & WAN technologies, with Layer 2 & Layer 3 networks with vendor products - CISCO, BigIP, Fortinet, and Palo-alto devices.
Sound Working knowledge on MPLS, LDP, L2VPN & L3VPN VPNs
IEEE 802.2, 802.3 and 802.11 Networks, SD-WAN
Worked on firewalls like Cisco FTD, Fortinet, and Palo-alto.
Switching and Routing (RIP, EIGRP, OSPF, and BGP) . Excellent knowledge of the principles of operation and configuration of LAN/WAN services: Switching, Routing, Network security, IPsec, VPN, DMVPN, DHCP, LOGGING, SNMP, RADIUS, VLAN (802.1q)
Knowledge on various DC Architecture (DC-DR, Active-Active DC etc.)
Good team player, Self-confident, motivated, and independent
Microsoft Azure knowledge is added advantage
Strong expertise in the Azure Cloud - Security Domain

Qualification/ Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology • 10+ years of directly related work experience in the field of computer networking & security.
CCNA, CCNP Security, Firewall Administration courses, CCIE Security, Palo Alto, Fortinet firewall related expert certifications

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: QAR21,000.00 per month
