Description

WHAT WE NEED

Hazecast is looking for a cloud engineer who will design, develop, and maintain cloud infrastructure implementation and automation efforts across multiple cloud providers in a highly collaborative, dynamic environment. You’ll build creative solutions and evolve infrastructure to meet real market and customer demands. You will work closely with software engineers within the cloud and platform teams to develop new product offerings and improve the efficiency of our managed cloud offering.

What You’ll Do

• Design, develop, and implement our infrastructure automation with Terraform and Kubernetes
• Work closely with software developers to deploy and operate our dev, test, and production environments
• Help automate and streamline our software delivery processes, scaling of environments, and improve cost-effectiveness
• Build and maintain tools for deployment, monitoring, and operations
• Improve the reliability and performance of our products through root-cause analysis and reviewing gaps in designs and implementations of our infrastructure
• Keep an eye out for technology trends and open-source projects that can be used.
• Integrate internal and external product design into a cohesive user experience

What You Have

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study (Computer Science, or related discipline) or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of Experience working on Cloud Infrastructure and Operations domains in a multi-cloud environment - AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Extensive experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, ArgoCD, Helm, etc.
• Experience with at least one programming language, preferably Java, Golang, or Python
• Experience with setup, configuration, and usage of monitoring, distributed logging, and metrics to spot problems (e.g Prometheus, Grafana, Fluentbit, DataDog)
• Experience with CI and building CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
• Excellent understanding of security best practices in a cloud environment
• Must have a good understanding of cloud networking patterns
• Must have a good knowledge of HA architectures
• Excellent written and communication (English) skills

LOCATION

• This is a remote position, that can be based anywhere in Turkey. NO relocation.
