This opportunity is within Consulting Service Line, which is focused on the following areas:

Your key responsibilities


The consultant will be involved in providing objective advise, expertise, guidance, and specialist skills with the aim of achieving the project targets. The consultant will mainly work with the EY team to:


  • Provide support as a Business Analyst/ Scrum Master during the implementation phase
  • Be part of the client engagements and lead specific work-streams
  • Map current processes and identify gaps and areas of improvement
  • Design the target operating model (TOM) and the implementation plan for future technological developments
  • Work in tandem with the technology team or OEMs/ISV’s to ensure quality delivery within stipulated timelines set by the client
  • Support the Engagement Manager for activities such as engagement economics and receivables, project resources and team utilization
  • Support the delivery / execution of high-quality deliverables and manage service quality
  • Assist in business development initiatives such as responding to RFQ, RFI & RFP etc.
  • Demonstrate significant industry / solution expertise
  • Ensure compliance to the firm’s standards, processes, and policies


Skills and attributes for success


  • 3+ years of relevant experience in Banking & Insurance
  • Techno-functional experience and expertise in digital & platforms (digital banking, FinTech, platforms such as Customer Relationship Management, Core Banking, Loan Origination System, Loan Management System, Loan Collection System, Cash Management, Payments, Policy Administration System, Digital Channels, CX, UI/UX etc.)
  • Understanding of emerging technologies in BFSI value chain
  • Experience in Digital/Technology Strategy & Transformation, Program implementation and delivery, Design thinking, Agile Scrum, Enterprise Architecture and Project Delivery
  • Experience in working along with product firms (preferred)
  • In-depth domain knowledge of Technology sector (preferred)
  • Deep understanding and hands on experience on multiple front/mid & back-end tools
  • Advanced knowledge of ARIS, MS Project, MS Document, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Visio, O365, Microsoft Teams, Jira, Confluence, etc. (preferred)
  • Experience in technology/product verticals of large IT firms and, other product firms such as Finastra, Temenos, Edgeverve, BaNCS, FIS, Fiserv, Thought Machine, Mambu, Backbase etc.


Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Experience working with globally clients
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to explain technical content to non-technical customers
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access and/or SharePoint) and willingness to learn firm-used technologies
  • Produces consistent quality of work products/deliverables for which he/she is personally responsible
  • No material adverse findings from internal or external inspections that are directly associated with his or her role/responsibilities
  • Understands delivery center role expectations and supports the engagement team to deliver exceptional client service
  • Demonstrated project management, teaming, organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective organization and time management skills while working on multiple projects
  • Ability to work under pressure and adhere to project deadlines
  • Willingness to travel to client site as necessary
