Job Description
The Salesforce Technical Lead will be responsible for all technical aspects involved in delivering Salesforce projects—primarily custom code development but also any other related technical items such as communities and complex integrations with external applications. The technical lead is expected to have extensive experience in software development, including, but not limited to, Salesforce technologies such as Visualforce, Lightning component and Apex. As the Technical Lead/ Senior Developer, this position will be expected to split their time with approximately 60% dedicated to development work and 40% spent coordinating and overseeing the Salesforce development teams effort. The Lead will be responsible for documenting the technical requirements and low-level solution documents and design and manage developers throughout the development, testing and support phases.
Core Responsibilities
Lead and/or contribute to all technical aspects of project
Be a technical point of contact for advising and managing client queries and technical solution handling
Salesforce/ Force.com custom development using Visualforce and Apex and experience with LWC/Aura development
Experience with Partner or Communities Portals Preferred
Broader programming technologies such as HTML, XML, JSON, jQuery, SOAP, AJAX, JavaScript
Knowledge of ETL tools such as Information and DataPower
Understand the Client use case and conduct analysis, coordinate the design of solutions
Propose the technical Architecture and validate and review the impacts on the existing architectures for new developments and enhancements
Manage the development and deployment of new demands, and/or enhancements to existing applications
Extensive hands-on experience on complex integrations (Must Have)
Ensure that development projects meet business requirements and goals, fulfil end-user requirements, and identify and resolve systems issues
Managing the production issues and guide the team, if any
Provide detail design and documentation of each component of the solution such as data migration, integration, and custom development
Determine the scope and corresponding effort estimates for all development
Work closely with business partners and the Business Consultants to realize the full capabilities of Salesforce
Create and maintain development and integration plans
Conduct code reviews across projects
Manage and supervise the release management and DevOps process
Accountable for Technical ( High level to Low Level) solutioning across project
Qualifications
Salesforce Certification (Admin, Advanced Admin or Platform Developer 1 preferred)
Salesforce Certification: Sales, Experience, Marketing Cloud, Service Cloud, Community Cloud is a plus
2+ years of technical team leadership experience
5+ years direct experience in software development and/or programming design and systems management
Strong analytical skills with ability to learn quickly
Strong communication skills
