Role: Senior Java Developer
Experience: 8+ Years

Detailed Job Description:

8+ years of experience in delivering leading edge interactive software predominantly for financial service firms
Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming and Java technologies
Deep expertise in Java 8 and above versions, Spring boot, Microservices, databases, CI-CD tools
Abreast with recent technologies
Has a demonstrated ability to learn on the job
Work directly with clients, understand business requirements and develop software solutions
Proven ability to work in a global team/client group across locations with different time zones
Excellent communication skills, both face to face and with remote locations
Team collaboration and Interpersonal skills
Expertise in translating requirements to design via a test-driven-development model. Good analytical and reasoning skills.
Strong knowledge in SDLC processes from requirement gathering through post production support
Understanding of Agile processes and experience working in PODs

Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position depends on the experience and other qualifications of the candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
