Having entered the chemical distribution business in 1912, afterwards seeking a worldwide range of expansion meanwhile founded also in Turkey, in 2005; recording significant progress in the development of a continuous business focus with respect of quality and customer satisfaction now looks for an hands-on Product Manager!

Our new Product Manager will be part of a multifunctioning team-mentality. There will be a continuous interface between this individual, his/her supervisor and other members of the sales and product management team who need to be kept informed of pertinent sales activities and issues. This will include cross company initiatives in conjunction with proper products seek, quality, product&price development and distribution frames. There will also be significant interaction with other key managers in the organization to properly leverage resources in the complex execution of daily tasks.

Job Description & Required Business Acumen
  • Developing a quality&price-oriented strategy focused both on new product obtaining and customer satisfaction.
  • Presenting deep knowledge for chemical raw material analysis.
  • Purchasing & sourcing products from a selected and negotiated supplier portfolio, make a single sourcing for key account customers’ requirements via:
  • Overall product responsibility including startegic planning and strategy execution. ( strategy )
  • Setting the strategic direction for the product , managing and owning all related budgtes and profitability forecasts. (strategy)
  • Defining the growth roadmap for success in close collaboration with sales teams.(strategy)
  • Building a market and product knowledge and make sure that market intelligence is shared with relevant departments , sales teams and collegues . (product ownership)
  • Engaging pro-acitvely in sales process for opportunities.
  • Regularly joining sales teams visits on client visits to get a better understanding of market needs.(sales and customers)
  • Conducting regular vendor review meetings and keep close relationships with existing partners to collect most updated market trends on producer side. (suppliers – partners)
  • Being in close collaboration with sales support and supply chain departments to ensure that service level and planning processed are held on highest standarts in terms of accuracy and product availability. (delivery – execution)


Desired Qualifications
  • Bachelors Degree in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry, preferably from reputable universities.
  • 3-6 years of trackable experience in product management, sourcing.
  • A proven track record of market knowledge in a commercially oriented position.
  • Fluency in English and excellent numeric reinterpretation skill set.
  • Ability to maintain long-lasting relations in with excellent communication and process management skills.
  • Leverage understanding of business, operating and financial environments and customer needs to deliver results.

Job Description & Required Business Acumen

  • Presenting deep knowledge for chemical raw material analysis
  • Purchase products from a selected and negotiated supplier portfolio, make a single sourcing for key account customers’ requirements
  • Need deep customer orientation, coordinate selling across all key account customers (forecast/budget focus)
  • Set/recommend product pricing range/band for account managers
  • Stock planning according to the forecasts of the customers and/or monthly.
  • Managing and following reguarly more than 250-300 products in stock, planning orders and following all stages after placing orders.
  • Conducting effective research to identify new perceptions and customer needs with expanding customer portfolio, to offer new products.
  • Making potential customer, market, sector, product and competitor researches.
  • Managing the relations of customers and reporting properly as it required in the company.
  • Increasing the value of existing customers while attracting new ones in regards of changing expectations, market facts on products and company policies and targets while planning and overseeing new initiatives.
  • Preparing relevant weekly, monthly, quarterly reports for disposed/damages/slow moversensuring adherence to law-established rules, company procedures and guidelines.
  • Keeping required records of all data and maintaining trustworthy feedback for sales teams.
  • Delivering accurate product facts on a periodic basis and establishing/managing the proper communication lines for that.
