Primary Responsibilities :

  • Monitor performance of information technology systems to determine cost and productivity levels, and to make recommendations for improving the IT infrastructure
  • Analyze business requirements by partnering with key stakeholders across the organization to develop solutions for IT needs
  • Maintain essential IT operations, including operating systems, security tools, applications, servers, email systems, laptops, desktops, software, and hardware
  • Own projects, solutions, and key responsibilities within a larger business initiative
  • Ensure network components meet needs and work together seamlessly, using the full range of capabilities, and stay informed about new features and competitive solutions
  • Continuously analyze current process, technologies, and vendors to identify areas of improvement
  • Develop and execute disaster procedures, and maintain data backups

Professional Qualifications :

  • Demonstrable skills in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting the following are required :
  • Desktops, Laptops, Printers and Computer peripherals
  • Microsoft Windows 10, macOS
  • Microsoft Office 365
  • Google Chat, Google Meet, MS Teams
  • ADSL / DSL Router / Firewalls, Lan Switches
  • Anti-Virus Software
  • In addition, any experience of the following would be an advantage :
  • gDrive, OneDrive
  • Cortex XDR Antivirus
  • Bitlocker Encryption
  • JIRA ticketing system
  • Qualys
  • VPN Clients
  • Basic Scripting and Programming Experience

Personal Skills

  • Experience in IT support and system administration
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of documented experience in an IT Support role
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Windows and macOS experience
  • Basic networking knowledge
  • Ability to function well under in a pressurized environment
  • Self-motivated, organized, and able to work under their own initiative
  • Interest in technological innovation and motivation to learn
  • Openness to learn and share knowledge
  • Willingness to collaborate and foster teamwork in a multicultural environment
